From Indian Creek to Yahoo Creek 14.6. 

We will make our only brush with civilization as we climb up to US Hwy 27 and cross at Flat Rock Missionary Baptist Church north of Whitley City. They provide drinking water and a picnic table for hikers. Keep in mind it will be Sunday. We cross the boundary into the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. We'll make our way back down to the river bed and camp somewhere near the Yahoo Creek crossing. A couple miles further is Alum Ford Campground, another pay campsite that requires reservations, and doesn't even have water anyway. Or four miles further is Cotton Patch Shelter, the only shelter on our section.
